About Madison

My health and wellness journey inspired me to start Zen Life & Body. At the age of 18, I was diagnosed with a medical condition, a form of dysautonomia that affects my autonomic nervous system. My weekly routine included having a safe person to talk to about my experience and growing my knowledge of how I could improve my overall well-being. I became passionate about supporting others on their unique wellness journeys, including running support groups for people with dysautonomia. This led me to become a certified health and life coach through “Health Coach Insitute”. While finishing my coaching certification, I worked at an acupuncture office where I was connected to a massage therapist and founder of “The Hamsa Touch”. I started getting massages every week and it helped my chronic pain tremendously. I felt so passionate about how much it helped me that I decided to proceed with my studies and become a massage therapist. I am currently attending Zen Shiatsu- Chicago where I will receive my AOBTA (American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia) certification and license as a massage therapist. I also became a certified yoga instructor in Aug 2023 from ISSA (International Sports Science Association). In my free time, I like to focus on my wellness journey, working with crystals, helping others, being outdoors, listening to music, and using my creative mind.
